Jack just reached down and picked this up...it is actually deeper than this now. We are officially at 9 inches deep. This was right after school and it didn't stop until 3:00 am. The grass in the back gound is where the neighbors huge Oak is...the snow that fell on the top of the tree overnight caused 5 HUGE branches to fall in our yard. I spent almost 2 hours this morning clearing our trees off, so no more branches will break. We have lost 10+ of our own already.I have missed seeing wet snow clothes in my front hallway...
In spite of our flight being cancelled and broken trees, it has been a fun time hanging with all my kids at home today. We are off to play some more outside. Hopefully this time we can make a snowman!
